Kitt3000 757 Posted May 22, 2013 If you are a horse enthusiast like myself, I wondered when I could safely ride my horse after the lap band procedure. Well, I did it! I brought my favorite horse out of the stall, groomed her, put my 40 pound saddle on her, with no pain from my guts (haha), stepped up, and went for a nice quiet ride. I don't know which one of us was happier! She had quite the attitude not getting out for an adventure, I was feeling a little fenced in myself.... Glowing! That would be me, and my best bud! Kitt3000 757 Posted June 27, 2014 Since it's so hot right now, I'm not getting much riding done. I have been doing ground work to interact with them as well as grooming. I do worry about not getting in enough Water with the band, when it's in the 90's everyday! Mostly, I trail ride and work in the arena. Western saddle is my favorite. A little reining, a little cutting. Not into competition, too much traveling!
