Tried to do too much too soon

I was banded on Wednesday the 15th. I recuperated really quickly and was feeling my old self right away. Well, yesterday I decided to go for a ride on the ATV, BIG MISTAKE. I was fine afterward but later that night my stomach muscles started to feel tender. This morning and all day today my side has been aching. Like I pulled a muscle. Should I put a heating pad on it or should I put something cold on it?

I would think heat since it encourages healing.

I was banded on the 16th, and I feel the same way after I took a long drive. It lasted a day or so and just went away. I think the jiggling upsets it at first. Damn jiggling. :)
