Had a great NSV this weekend that I just had to share with a group that would understand.

Spent the weekend in Green Bay for a football camp with my son. Temps were in the upper 70's/low 80's, sun shining, and a good amount of walking. Before my surgery I would have been sweating like a pig just getting out of the car. The walking would have killed me. This weekend I was able to keep up with my sons team when they were on the move and didn't sweat once, even sitting on the metal bleachers. Such a great feeling. :D

Thanks for letting me share.

Jen

I spent yesterday at the dreaded Mall with my two granddaughters looking for a dress for the 14 yr old to wear in a pageant she will be in next Sat. 40 lbs ago I could not have walked that Mall more than a few minutes without sitting down to rest.. I did not sit one time.. so your NSV is awesome.. it's a wonderful feeling to be able to participate in life instead of sitting on the sidelines and sweating lol...keep up the good work...

Had a sleeve in 2017, lost over 100 pounds. Had a DS surgery this year (2025) for more sustainable weight loss. 🤞

The 14th was my day. I am home and recovery is going pretty smooth. They even let me walk out of the hospital. Picture of me in recovery curtesy of my boyfriend lol.

Neat you have a pic of this day! I was sooo happy to get my surgery. It was well worth it! And I'm not even near my goal. I had surgery Dec. 2!
