Personally I think Flinstones are a waste of time and would not take them or give them to my kids. I use liquid Health Complete multiple original. They are excellent and seem to absorb well, based on my nutritional profile from my blood work.

I like the kids chewables for myself (if I hide them in yogurt), and I also add one called hair, Skin, and Nails (a Biotin complex) that I crush.

I take Nature's Plus chewable multi-Vitamin and mineral supplement. I get them at the Vitamin Shoppe, but here is a link to them at another place (just so you can see what they are). I like these better than the gummies, because they have minerals as well. All of the gummies I've looked at, seem to be missing things.

My doctor recommended Bariatric Advantage, I'm using that (mixed berry, chewable). It's not too bad. Good luck!

I have hunted the shelves and the internet on this subject. I have concluded I'm going to take the Vitamins that are sold at my surgeon's ofc. I think the brand name is Celebrate. They are made especially for WLS patients. They are formulated based on the type of surgery you have had. I am still pre-op but am looking to start taking them before surgery. I tried a sample of the formula for lap-band patients (chewable), it was tasty and disolved in my mouth quickly.

The Bariatric Advantage ones taste icky to me. As a bandster, you don't have to worry about malabsorbtion in the same way that someone with a bypass or sleeve would, so you may not need something as potent as a bariatric supplement. (They can also be pricey.)

Centrum makes an orange flavored chewable, and a liquid, but I personally don't care for the flavor or the gritty texture. I'm currently taking Viactive, which is a chocolate chew. It's 20 calories, but I don't mind it so much because it tastes more like a candy than a Vitamin, and it's only about $7 for a 60 day supply.

I'm sure there are better ones out there, but it works for me, and I don't have to worry about a pill getting stuck.

I'm 2 weeks out from the lap band revision my nutritionist recommended to take optisource they are chewables and you can get them from Walgreens and they taste like baby aspirin. You have to chew 4 a day there's 120 pills and the cost approx $20.00.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
