What do you drive?

My ride looks much nicer then this one and doesn't have steps, but it's mine and I wouldn't trade it for nothin...cept mebbe a new Chevy Avalanche or a new Harley.

Road Queen...i'm super jealous. A Harley is on my list of weight loss goal rewards. 150lbs from now I will be riding some sad wanna be Harley like a Honda Shadow and dreaming of the day I buy my Road King or a Heritage Softail Classic.

My husband got me a BMW X3 as a gift for finishing my master's degree. We also have a BMW Z4 convertible (his baby ), and another BMW 325 with about 180,000 miles on it. It still looks great-and we love it! I never had a fancy car before this one, so I really enjoy it!

I have a 2002 sporty black Cougar, she is my baby! When I graduate with my Masters in May I want a purple 350 Z (even though we have a lot of nasty weather here, and rear wheels are not my specialty!). If I truly don't like driving it in the snow and ice, I will get a new Eclipse....they are sooooo cute!

Right now I drive a 03 Kia spectra, and my DH drives a 06 Kenworth. I/We will soon have a empty nest. All our kids will be gone the end of June and we have decided not to renew our foster license. Mmy DH and I have decided when that happens we're going to splurge and buy a new Chrysler 300. I'm calling it my midlife crisis car but really it will be my new life present.

Well.....sometimes I get to drive my husbands Viper. Never had it in sixth gear.....you have to be going at around 160 for that gear.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
