Hi y'all!

I'm trying to see what you all have been eating to successfully loose weight.

Please share here what and how much you are eating. (I know every persons amount is different, but just to have an idea).

Thanks.

I'm going to start then ;)

I'll put the time as i had my second fill last night, and i'm testing it out lol (even though today is only about mushies, tomorrow i go back to solid)

So far:

7:00 - 1/2cup coffee + 1/2 cup of 2%milk(i usually have soy milk but there wasnt any left)

7:30 - 1 pouched egg

9:30 - about 1-1/2 cup of fresh papaya

(Now is almost 10, and my stomach is growling lol, i'm going to try to hold on until 10:30 and maybe eat another egg. Damn it, i should've ate 2 eggs at 7:30, but i thought 1 was enough)

I log everything on MyFitnessPal. There are quite a few banders there that you can follow if you'd like. It's a great tool to use. Feel free to add me txin1

Best wishes!

HI! I use FitDay.com, but only because I have been using it to track calories for the past 11 years. I am comfortable with it, but I am sure there are better program that have come out since.

My diet is basically the same; I try for under 1000 calories and at least 70 grams of Protein. A typical day will be 1 cup of blueberries mixed with yogurt for Breakfast, and maybe 3 to 4 fish fillets spread over lunch and dinner. I'll add an asian pear every other day, and either yellow or green Beans (low cal veggies) for fillers after the Protein if I still have room. I love fish and have lost interest in red meats since the surgery.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
