I posted a couple of weeks ago but here I go with a BIG change up in my diet and exercise. I have been on a plateau for 8 weeks now and am getting SO frustrated. I have not gained but I have not lost weight and have only lost a couple of inches over the past couple of months. My next Dr. appointment is the end of May where I will be getting yet another fill. So far I have 6.5 cc in my band.

To change things up yet again I have dropped my calorie intact to 1000 calories a day and am cutting out even more carbs, raised my exercise routine to 5+ days a week (talking the walking out) with weights 3 times a week. If this doesn't do it I give up. I am 40 pounds away from my first goal and need things to get moving again.

Thanks for listening to me vent. Hope all you moms out there had a wonderful Mother's Day.

Jen

Plateau's stink! Way to stay motivated and not let it get you down! By your ticker looks like you've done an amazing job thus far. I'm still a newbie and so no big words of wisdom, just some encouragement! You can do it!!

"If this doesn't do it I give up"

Ask for your limitations and they're yours....Richard Bach

I hope this is just part of your rant, but keeping positive, long term, is essential. You're so new to this journey and to demand instant results rarely works for most of us. I could understand if you were 2 years into your journey but 5 months is nothing. And losing 2 inches is quite an accomplishment.

Many of us would love to have the success you've achieved already. I lost 12 lbs the first 2 weeks and then nothing for the next 3.5 months. Good luck and don't give up, just modify your expectations?
