Could also mean you need a slight unfill. Your dr will figure it out

I had a random couple of days of heartburn and realized somehow that it was possibly the allergy medication I take right before I go to bed. I went to my surgeon first just to make sure and all was well (but very glad I came and told me to call any time something doesn't seem right). I stopped taking the pill right bed, switched meds to a smaller pill and it went away. I agree with line-dancer. Call and tell them you have started having issues out of the blue and see if they can fit you in. Good luck!

I have been on the same medicines for two years nothing has changed.... Well except for my anxiety meds... They switched me from cymbalta to Zoloft but that was more that a month ago.... If it continues I am definitely going to call the dr.... I just had an unfill about three weeks ago and we are really trying to get to my proper amount of Fluid that needs to be in my band.... Once I am there I think I will be so much happier and better!!!!

Sounds more like a Pouch enlargement:

Symptoms of pouch enlargement include lack of satiety, heartburn, regurgitation and occasional chest pain. The diagnosis is made with an upper gastrointestinal series.

Some have said that having an Un-fill has helped them resolve this problem, That is what helped me when I started to experience heartburn.

SLIPS:

In both types of slip,( Anterior and Posterior) the patient usually presents with dysphagia, vomiting, regurgitation and food intolerance. The diagnosis is made by upper gastrointestinal series. Complications related to band slip

Good Luck and please keep us posted

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
