DELETE THIS ACCOUNT! 12,703 Posted May 12, 2013 That's not a sign your band has slipped. If you're hungry more often then you likely still need more Fluid in your band to control hunger. How much you can eat isn't a sign of a slip or needing a fill, though. The band isn't meant to physically stop you from eating anything. This is why it's important to stick to band sized portions regardless of how much you can actually eat. Concentrate on how well your hunger is controlled not your food intake. Best wishes. 2 ☠carolinagirl☠ and 2muchfun reacted to this
labwalker 1,177 Posted May 12, 2013 I notice that I can eat more weeks after a fill. I think the stomach might swell a bit as a reaction to the fill. When the swelling goes down, the restriction is reduced. Perhaps you have bit more to go before getting into your green zone.
kll724 3,055 Posted May 12, 2013 Labwalker, that is what my son-in-law says too. I am not like that, I can get restriction anytime. Boyer, you would definitely know if you have a slip. It is not about restriction, or not, it is about not keeping stuff down, and having reflux and GERD at night. Are you losing weight? Are you getting your proper Proteins? If not, step up both your proteins and Water. Maybe, you need to increase your calories. How many are you eating a day? Probably you should be having about 1000 a day, if not, increase your calories, too. Best wishes. Karen
