Debra 0 Posted March 23, 2004 Hmmmm, I've heard of high cortisol being a sign of Cushings disease, but I've not heard of low cortisol. Try WebMD.com, they're usually pretty reliable! Debra
gretat 0 Posted March 23, 2004 Hi Michelle, I have not heard of it either. How did your appointment go on Monday? Greta
baileymb 0 Posted March 23, 2004 All went well at beaumont, they were really nice there! The ABG was a peice of cake, people at work had me really worried about it! The UGI was soo cool, the stuff I had to drink was weird, but the tech showed me the tv so I can see it moving around in me! TOOO weird! LoL It was when I got back to work when things went crazy, with Dr. Little office calling me and saying I need to re-do a blood test showing the cortisol, and that it was low. The lady on the phone couldn't even tell me if it was really serious, she also had no idea what it was....except for some kind of steroid around my heart... My next app is the psych on Monday, by then I will be completely nuts!!! LoL Thanks for inquiring Greta, Keep in touch!! Baileym;)
