Jack 855 Posted May 7, 2013 Whatever his politics, Gov. Christie has made a commitment for similar reasons, that all of us have faced. http://www.nypost.com/p/news/national/chris_cuts_waist_oAUDrJ8Sm1fY6awWgFY6nN cheers on your journey, Governor! 11 It'sTime, KAATNS, sapcat54 and 8 others reacted to this

KarenElaine 44 Posted May 7, 2013 So thankful!! I appreciate Gov Christie's desire for privacy but also would want him to know, we are all in the same boat. We want to be around for our loved ones. Enjoy life to it's fullest. We just can't do it as an obese person. We miss out on so much in life. Cheers to him and his journey! 1 mrsto reacted to this
cheryl2586 3,053 Posted May 7, 2013 So glad he did. Even though on an interview he said he was healthy he was not. I am glad he decided to get healthy.
Sharpie 3,306 Posted May 7, 2013 I am anxious to see how he does... It's validating to know he chose the band instead of bypass or sleeve. I hope he's able to get support and is totally successful. He is still young enough to change his future health... I believe he is sincere about losing it for his family and not his career. He will continue to do well politically either way. 1 mrsto reacted to this
mrsto 2,925 Posted May 7, 2013 He used the same doctors I did. Gonna keep an eye out for him when I go to the office for followups...LOL! I LOVE that he went public with his decision to better his health through WLS. Though we live in California, my husband and I are huge Chris Christie fans. We love his politics, and hope he does run for president some day. He's got OUR vote! 4 Sharpie, donna12, emeryhns and 1 other reacted to this
