I've been banded about 6 months now, and a couple of days ago I got this weird pain around my port, it eventually went away but now it's come back, I've had it for about 2 hours now, it's kind of hard to explain, it's almost like a throbbing pain, it's no excruciating but it's not very comfortable either! Has anyone had this pain before? If it doesn't stop soon I'm ready to call my doctor :/

not sure but maybe you bumped it (or stretched the scar tissue)

while you were exercising or bending over taking the trash out or emptying the dryer or picking up the newspaper from the curb...i feel if you are nervous or concerned, just jingle your dr and see what they think...

Good idea to see your doctor. Some surgeons attach the port to muscle tissues and this might be the urt you are feeling. Please discuss this with the doctor who did the surgery. They will probably scope this area if possible in the office.

I also think you should call your doctor. I sleep on my port sometimes and it can hurt for a really long time.
