lol76 0 Posted May 4, 2013 I got my band one week ago today. I also had hernia repair at the same time. The last two days I have experienced nautiousness throughout the day. Bad dry heaving while driving. I was admitted to the hospital for dehydration and cats can showed the band was fine and its not slipped. Any comments would be GREATLY appreciated. lellow 1,713 Posted May 4, 2013 I got a band replacement a week ago and I'm having exactly the same issue. It's awful. I just started on anti nausea meds but am truly feeling wretched.

I was banded 4/17 and had some initial nausea and asked my surgeon for something and he prescribed generic Zofran. I hadn't needed it again until I got my first stuck episode. I was driving 75 mph on the interstate and couldn't pull over. I popped one and all was well. I have had another stuck episode since but I PB'd appropriately and it all worked out. Give this all a chance. Part of the hell in dieting is waiting for results. This is a fairly rapid process, but there is still an element of waiting and patience involved. Mastering those things will serve your long-term loss well. Best of luck to you--hang in there!!
