Spaness2012 609 Posted May 2, 2013 Congrats! I had to walk every 30 mins or so for several days after my surgery. I also flapped my arms around and around to move the gas. This lasted more than about 10 days for me. Keep moving. It will pass. 1 Bk Latin gent reacted to this
carlak 59 Posted May 2, 2013 I was banded 4/29 I was miserable with the gas too! I walked went for a ride in the car but what did it for me was mylicon chewable gas relief, I laid on my back with feet elevated and put the heating pad on my stomach gas moved and I feel 100% better
turtle11 16 Posted May 2, 2013 Carlak I just had you in my mind this week. So glad you finally got approved. Now your journey will begin. Don't let ups and down of the band get you side tracked or stressed. Always look on the upside. Good luck
Bk Latin gent 20 Posted May 2, 2013 Thank you for the support. I am so happy I made this choice. I'm 28 and I needed a better quality of life. This is hopefully a step in the right direction.

Bk Latin gent 20 Posted May 6, 2013 Congratz what help me out was any form of gas x or gas relief Water walking and a heating pad. I just got rid of the pain yesterday it took me five to six days. Just hang in there and whatever you take and as far as water and food take your time speeding things up what introduce more air into the system thus creating gas
