Sharpie 3,306 Posted May 1, 2013 You should still be in the healing phase ... however you won't feel "full"... just satisfied.. sounds like your head is telling you to continue eating cause you're not stuffed... hopefully when you get a fill it will help... also make sure you eat a lot of protein.. that is what makes you feel satisfied.. the band will not stop you from eating...good luck. 1 ☠carolinagirl☠ reacted to this
☠carolinagirl☠ 18,721 Posted May 1, 2013 the band (to my understanding) wont make you full.....it will help you eat less so its up to you to choose what foods to eat....but def drink alot and fill up on Protein (to help you) feel full longer until you get that fill..but dont just think the fill will help you lose weight.....(i dont have one and i am losing) because i am making sure i am eating my allotted amount and careful of my cal intake...(if you eat more cals then you burn off, you will gain)....band or no band.. 1 Bandgirl64 reacted to this

The lap band will only assist the work that u do It will not do the work for u 2 LeeAnnfromNC and gr8 mommy reacted to this
line-dancer 810 Posted May 1, 2013 you may need a couple of fills to get some restricktion. This is healing time and of course you will feel hungry and not full. In time you will learn what that means for you. Practice all the rules and rest right now. chew slowly, very small bite, Protein, protient, drink Water all day and knoiw this is not the losing stage this is the healing stage. kazjim98 618 Posted May 1, 2013 At this stage you need to control yourself...just like being on a diet. Many people need many fills to reach restriction....you need to do your part in order to be successful. Best Wishes 1 dani_nyc reacted to this
