blondegal_ 1,028 Posted April 26, 2013 There are soy chips. Also some crackers are not too bad calorie wise. There's lots of options for almost any food you want to eat. Make healthy choices and remember Portion Control and you can enjoy all types of foods. That might sound like a diet but for me with the band it's not. TaraKaye 44 Posted April 26, 2013 Those are great ideas thank you. So far doing great just thinking ahead for family events
Kime-lou 648 Posted April 26, 2013 I got a microwave chip maker from pampered chef and it's nice to make veggie and fruit chips. I can make apple, zucchinni, sweet potato and they taste good, but aren't loaded with the fat, grease and salt like store bought are. However, if any one gets one, you do have to play around with the time in the microwave to get it right. 2 Terry Poperszky and TaraKaye reacted to this

This could give me a healthy alternative.
missybear 86 Posted April 27, 2013 Carrots, capsicum/peppers, cucumber sticks are great. Celery I've had some trouble with stringy bits if my teeth can't shred the stringy bits
Selma Sunshine 3 Posted April 29, 2013 Rice crackers are also a great alternative.
Jachut 487 Posted April 29, 2013 Mary's Gone Crackers - wheat free, gluten free, made from rice, seeds and flax. Rather low calorie and moderate carb, and at least nutritious - not empty process wheat calories. You can have 13 for 136 calories according to te box. Hard to get in Australia and probably specialty store item in the US too but easily available online.
Selma Sunshine 3 Posted May 1, 2013 Jachut, Thanks for the recommendation! I just discovered them here in a nearby shop called "Veggies" - quite expensive but worth the price
