crafty_lady1971 17 Posted April 24, 2013 I had surgery around 1 pm today. I actually wasn't nervous about the surgery. When I woke up, I was in a lot of pain in my chest and shoulder. They gave me some morphine then later some liquid hydrocodone which helped. I got home a couple hours ago and went to sleep. My dog woke me up to take her out. Now if we could just time warp and have the weight already off, but I'm actually looking forward to the journey.

Banjo257 920 Posted April 25, 2013 Move around as much as possible, stretch your arms, etc. It helped the gas ddisperse and not hurt for me. Good luck and welcome to the club!

Rojasanoll 920 Posted April 25, 2013 SIP the Water, use heating pad and walk as much as you can tolerate. Helps with the gas.
crafty_lady1971 17 Posted April 25, 2013 Feeling lots better this morning. No pain just a little discomfort. I didn't sleep well last night though. I kept waking up to go to the bathroom. Probably because of the iv and drinking a lot of Water. I'm taking it rather easy today, but I'll make sure I walk around as much as possible.
