jazzmattazz 2 Posted April 22, 2013 Hey everyone, I got banded April 12 and lately I've been feeling really hungry. Is it normal for Water or fluids to go through with ease? I read all these threads about it being tough and others having their band slipped but no symptoms so I'm just wondering. Also I had 1 yogurt about 2 days ago and it went with ease. I haven't had anymore since then cause I read about the complications when skipping the diet rules. Any advice? I'm getting paranoid and I can't keep going to Mexico to reach my surgeon for little things I feel. ???£ Also did anyone get infections on their bottom incisions? Mine got infected and I'm in antibiotics for it to get better but it's taking super long (another paranoia)
sakwilla 2 Posted April 22, 2013 With the lapband all liquids will go through ease just like a clogged plug. You will find that you will be hungry for a while after your lapband surgery. I was also. Just keep eating what you are told too and dont worry, everything youre experiencing is normal. You will start to notice the lapband working after a few fills. Remember its not immediate, that is what a lot of people struggle to understand. Good luck! 1 2muchfun reacted to this
DELETE THIS ACCOUNT! 12,703 Posted April 22, 2013 Liquids should go through ease. If you chew properly and take small enough bites, everything should go through with ease. Eating should never be a chore nor should food get stuck. You talked about going to Mexico, don't you have a local doctor to take of you? You should. 2 ☠carolinagirl☠ and marlena_marie reacted to this
kll724 3,055 Posted April 22, 2013 Liquids should pass freely. Don't rush yourself with trying other foods. Find a local doctor, or fill location. Best wishes, Karen 1 ☠carolinagirl☠ reacted to this
