bryanthebigguy 12 Posted April 21, 2013 I weighed as soon as I got home from the hospital 3 days ago and it was 359.2. I've weighed everyday since then and this morning it was 346.1. I'm weighing every morning when I wake up at about the same time. I'm on a clear liquid diet for two weeks since I had a hernia that the doctor needed to fix. I'm full most of the time after a couple of ounces of liquids. I was just wondering if this much weight lose in that short of time was normal?
KAATNS 1,473 Posted April 21, 2013 It's probably normal, just be sure you're staying hydrated and follow your doctor's instructions. You can always call the office just to be certain. Good luck to you! 1 ☠carolinagirl☠ reacted to this
CHEZNOEL 4,061 Posted April 21, 2013 On Clear Liquids probably it is OK. When can you add full liquids and Protein? 1 ☠carolinagirl☠ reacted to this
☠carolinagirl☠ 18,721 Posted April 21, 2013 everyone is different...some lose faster than others and you are full on a small amount as you are still swollen inside...as it subsides, you will be able to drink more and gradually eat more...just keep following your doctors instructions. bryanthebigguy 12 Posted April 21, 2013 The doctor said I can go to full liquids after two weeks. I had a hyenal (spelling?) hernia he had to fix. He said I would be more sore for longer than usual. Thanks for the info.

2muchfun 8,927 Posted April 21, 2013 90% of the weight you're losing right now is your body shedding excess fluids so no harm in that. 1 ☠carolinagirl☠ reacted to this
