Let me know how it goes. I start pureeing Wednesday and it sounds so gross. I'm looking forward to some meat but the texture just sounds disgusting.

The flavor is really good but it looks gross like cat food lol. I just know this wont last long and I don't have much if an appetite. The hardest thing today was taking the Vitamins. I got nausea as soon as I took them. I'm just glad it passed quickly ugh..... But the purée tastes better than it looks.

Yum! Cat food...lol. Actually, anything sounds better than liquids. Are you using liquid or chewable vitamins? Vitamins have always made me sick but I can do the chewables without an issue.

I doing bariatric chewable w and I'm supposed to do 4 a day but I. Starting at the two since it made me nauseous and I wasn't able to finish all 3 tbs of puréed meat but ill work my way up to it. I ate very slow and took my time. My body said im done so I'm done. Tasted good though.

Sounds like you have a good plan. I never had a puree stage. Went from liquids to mushy to solids. Keep up the good work.

When I did that stage i ate mostly everything except meat. Salmon veggies chicken. The taste isn't bad . May not look pretty but.... Better than liquids

My surgeon is only allowing puréed Protein no veggies yet;) I'm looking forward to them once I'm allowed! I was able to do my walk and ate the 3 tbs for dinner so that was nice!

The 14th was my day. I am home and recovery is going pretty smooth. They even let me walk out of the hospital. Picture of me in recovery curtesy of my boyfriend lol.

Neat you have a pic of this day! I was sooo happy to get my surgery. It was well worth it! And I'm not even near my goal. I had surgery Dec. 2!
