has anyone with the lapband have problems eating chicken, I only do chopped chicken or broiled chicken. it seems to get stuck at the band but all my other food I eat with no problem

Mostly chicken is all in how you prepare it. Crock pots are usualy the best ways. You want to eat moist chicken. Some people prefer dark meat to white because of this. Just make sure you take small bites and you chew really well. I in general stay away from all dry meats. Pork is the worst for me.

I agree w/ Hely. If the chicken is moist enough, I do fine but if it is at all dry it doesn't work well. Marinating it too helps w/ the tenderness.

chicken breast is tough, and my surgeon warned me of that from the beginning

Dark chicken is OK, but as Hely88 has pointed out, it's all about how you cook it and how you eat it (small bites)

Crack pots are a good thing because the chicked gets really moist and soft in there because it sits for hours

I try to find a sauce to help it slide down. Marinara, salsa, low calorie afredo sauce, buffalo sauce etc.
