Just curious.. am 2 1/2 years post op.. had an unexplained fever for over a week now with swollen glands. Seen my regular PCP twice. Can't find anything .. ears, throat, lungs, sinuses all clear. Started an antibiotic cause I'm not sure they had any other ideas. No sign of an internal band related infection and doubtful after this long but am starting to wonder.

Sounds like you have either an infection or a virus.

Follow up with your doctor. It doesn't sound band related.
