Michele12 38 Posted April 17, 2013 I have been working out for the last two years and I do OK however at times I do not think that I am working out to my potential. I am really thinking about getting a personal trainer to help were I am lacking. I was wondering if anyone has used a personal trainer and their results. I have the cardiovascular portion figured out it is the strength training/weight lifting part I am not so good on. I have lost 110 pounds and have a lot of excess skin and no excess money to get a TT 2 ☠carolinagirl☠ and nerdybrat reacted to this
pgkpjs 113 Posted April 18, 2013 I have done a couple of groupons or living social deals where a month of group exercises (boot camp) is about $30-$50. I like a small group setting compared to a personal trainer and I have done both over the years. Small groups keep me motivated and I am not bleeding money. See if that works for you! Do make sure that whatever boot camp you choose does do strength training as part of the routine. 2 newlife828 and ☠carolinagirl☠ reacted to this
colleenjoy 104 Posted April 18, 2013 I have a personal trainer I see once a week. I love it! She pushes me harder than I would ever push myself. I was the same as you, I had cardio, but not the strength, so that what we focus on. I've tried all sorts of things I would never have done on my own. Good luck! Redesigned_Curves 312 Posted April 18, 2013 I work out with a personal trainer about 4 days a week and I love it! He pushes me and gets me to do things I would never think to do. I am a creature of habit so I get bored really easy, but he changes things up and I never know what to expect and therefor do not get bored. I actually look forward to working out. Even when they scale is only creeping along I am still noticing major changes in my body.
