Actually got my order today. Been using it every since I was banded. Unjury's website does have recipes. But tried one today that someone had posted. I had bought a 1/2 gallon of coconut milk at only contact about have the carbs that skim milk has. Did 8oz of that, 1 scoop of chocolate Protein, about 1/8 cup of walnuts, and 1/2 banana. Blended until well blended. You can drink it like that or I add ice cubes and make a smoothie. I use protein for beakfast to start the metabolism back up. Hope you enjoy.

I like them all but my favorite is:

1 scoop unjury vanilla

8 oz milk (skim or almond milk...any kind really)

3-4 ice cubes

1Tbsp Peanut Butter or PB2

I also freeze fruit and it makes a fantastic supplement for the ice cubes...

1 scoop Unjury vanilla

1 container Greek yogurt any flavor

A few slices of frozen fruit (bananas, peaches, and strawberries are all good options!

Since I'm not a huge fan of chocolate for Breakfast, although I love it any other time of day, I use this recipe:

1 scoop Unjury chocolate

8oz cold coffee

3-4 ice cubes

Milk/Splenda to taste

Enjoy!!!!!

My favorite Unjury recipe is this-one scoop unjury chicken powder, six ounces of plain Greek yogurt, some shredded canned chicken breast, and some seasoning like old bay. Mix it all together and let it mellow in fridge over night or for a day or two...the longer you let it set the better it tastes. Its really good as a dip for veggies and high in protien. I sometimes eat it alone with a spoon.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
