What do you eat now?

As I prepare to have my band filled, after being emptied for over a year, I am struggling to recall what the days/weeks following the fill will be like and what will be able to eat.

Sorry if this is not hte correct forum for this discussion.

I think the first few days were liquid only, then a few days of puree type food, then soft food,

Does that sound right?

Also, any suggestions for specific things you ate during these phases following the band fill?

Each Dr. has their own suggestions, talk to the person who fills you and ask. For me, it is liquids the day of the fill, mushies the next and then on to normal eating. Although depending on the swelling I will stay at mushies for a couple of days.

I agree ask your doctor. I do 24 liquids, 24 mushies then solids. Sometimes you have to play it be ear on how you feel. Good luck with everything.
