How long should i take off work???

Dr said I can go back after 1 week, I took two Weeks off just because, i'm an attorney, allot at desk but do stand sometimes for hours at court.

I had my surgery on a Wednesday and went back to work the following Monday. It sucked. I wished I had taken a couple more days off.

Monsters80 please take as much time from work as you can afford. Two weeks would be most appropriate. Keep in mind that you are having major surgery, your body will be filled with gas, your stomach will go through serious traumA, you will be on clear liquid diet, which may make you light headed, I promise that its more likely then not that you will feel like you got hit by a truck. My nutritionist told me that I could go back to work the next day, I was so happy not to schedule myself on his recommendation. The best of luck to you.

Another thing don't push, pull or lift. No house work or anything that can cause you to slow your recuperation. It's all about "you healing".
