Time off work

Recommended Posts

I know everyone's recovery varies- but across the board- how much time off did you take when you had the band? I'm an office manager at a dr's office so I won't be doing anything strenuous. I just want to be realistic as I ask for the time off as I do not want anyone at work knowing what I am doing.

I took two weeks off but could have gone back in one. And this time with the band replacement, I've only taken one. I work at a desk too, so I think I should be ok in a week.

I had surgery on a Wednesday and went back to work the next Tuesday. I didn't have much in the way of pain from the surgery or gas. If you drink lots of Water and get your walking in, I believe the recovery time is much shorter. It all depends on you.
