SageTracey 608 Posted April 14, 2013 29 years ago today I married my best friend. Today we are closer and happier than ever. We have stuck together through thick and thin (fat and skinny:) So how did we choose to Celebrate our anniversary? Well, a 100km bike ride seemed like a great idea as we are starting a four and a half day charity ride over 460km this week! Unfortunately, due to bike problems, we had to finish up at 75km but that is still 74km further than I could have ridden two years ago. BTW - yesterday was my two year bandiversary - down 63kg and living life to the max! 4 DELETE THIS ACCOUNT!, kll724, catfish87 and 1 other reacted to this

SageTracey 608 Posted April 22, 2013 Well done. Is this the same ride that you did last year? No, last year's ride was the Great Victorian Bike Ride. This was the Bayer Lions District 201V3 Ride for Sight and it was a fantastic experience! In four and a half days I cycled 478 kilometres burning 17,742 calories and exercising for a total of 28.25 hours. But I'm not game to try and work out how many calories I consumed thanks to the 20 Lions Clubs that hosted us along the way! I came home at the same weight as I left, so I am happy about that. Plus, as a group, we raised about $50,000 for research into preventable blindness.
