I started going to the gym and I'm on day two Ive been doing a lot of AB exercises and I'm Sooo sore! I just want to make sure its ok to do all the AB stuff with the lap band. I was banded 12/28/12

You should be fine. It's just muscle soreness. I congratulate you for going to the gym. I have yet to get there.

I do crunches 4x a week. They're fine. Won't hurt you a bit (unless you're talking about the sore muscles the day after your first or 2nd workout!)

Thanks both of you. My stomach muscles are so sore (didn't even know I gad any LOL) yesterday was my first workout and I couldn't even sleep last night I was so sore. I did it again today and I'm sore I took some motrin pm so hopefully that works

Just keep it up now so that you don't have to go through the pain again! Congrats to you for getting out there!

My Dr told me that there wasn't anything exercise wise, that would hurt the band or port after the six weeks post op.

        Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive).
