I do exactly what my surgeon and nutrition told me to do. 1 cup of food or 3oz Protein and 2oz veggies 2-3 times a day.. 1 Protein Shake on gym days.. And plenty of water!! It is very hard in the beginning. Yes it does feel like the end of the world.. It does get discouraging.. But it does pay off!! I've been doing things like Zumba, playing soccer, and running after my 2 year old son all day. Lol I'm staying away from weightlifting for now because I bulk up really fast so I try to do some cardio at least 2-3 times a week Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

mlparker 9 Posted April 13, 2013 Just under 6 weeks and I have lost 45 pounds since Pre-op diet. I have not really felt hunger or had a problem so far. Very grateful. I exercise 20-30 Min cardio every morning and then add weights at least 2x per week.
