hely88 883 Posted April 11, 2013 Are you getting enough Protein? Also look into taking Biotin. You can even find shampoos that have biotin in them. Good luck. 2 DELETE THIS ACCOUNT! and SeaSounders♥ reacted to this

marfar7 1,533 Posted April 11, 2013 Nioxin can be bought at any hair salon or beauty supply store. I used it as a prevention, never did lose any hair. Not sure if that was the reason, but it can't hurt. It's kinda pricey (about $25), but your hair is worth it! Marci
mrsto 2,925 Posted April 11, 2013 Nioxin is a great product! I haven't lost any hair (yet), but a few years back I started shedding, and Nioxin saved me. As a matter of fact, thank you Marci....for mentioning it. I think I'll switch back to it now, to hopefully avoid any loss since being banded. Famous1 - you might also want to pick up a product called Biosil. You can get it at a health food store. It's different from Biotin, but between the two, you should see a difference. Here is a link. It comes in capsules or liquid drops. http://www.gnc.com/p...oductId=4022428
Baba Wawa 543 Posted April 12, 2013 This doesn't look to be surgery related Hair loss, which occurs pretty evenly throughout the scalp area. You might consider talking to your dermatologist about it. hair loss that starts at the crown like that is usually pattern baldness and occurs in females as well as males. 1 JACKIEO85 reacted to this
elcee 3,341 Posted April 12, 2013 It could be the start of alopecia. It could be due to a fungal infection or psoriasis. It could even be from chemicals used processing your hair. As msmaui say's, it is best to have it checked out by the dermatologist.
