having pain under ribcage hurts when I take a deep breath

I'm one day post op and everyone I take a deep breath it hurts. I'm able to eat Applesauce and drink plenty of Water. But can anyone tell me about how long this last

It's gas pain from the air they pump into your abdominal cavity. It can last up to a week or two.

Try a heating pad to help it. Walk as much as you can to help your body reabsorb it faster.

I had it too right after surgery but it was trapped gas and went away.
