Well if you're not at least in the mushy phase then no, you can't have it. Once you are on mushies you can put it through the blender then have it.

Ok it doesn't matter if you "got it down". What matters is sticking to your doctor's post op instructions.

Weren't you given a clear set of instructions? Listing different phases and what foods are for each?

Why did you get the band? To go against everything the doctor said. You have to rest the area and liquids. Call your doctor and ask before you try any more foods

I got my post-op instructions and am on liquids for one whole week starting the day after surgery. Id say stick to the strict instructions, they are given for a reason!
