TaraKaye 44 Posted April 14, 2013 Day by day you will feel better. I am used to sleeping on my side and it was really hard for me to do that' date=' even lay flat on the bed was hard. But it does get better. I am on day 14 and I have some soreness around my port. But mostly have some itchiness around my incisions because of the healing! But other than that I feel good. About to start the mushy food stage![/quote'] How has your mushy stage been? Mine is good so far. It's nice to have flavor again Lol

If you can do that, that is great! A lot of hunger is head hunger and not real hunger. Continue to drink as much as you can! I only ever had one fill and still manage to control my food. You are doing great!
jojo2013 4 Posted April 19, 2013 Awesome thank you I'm so exited to see the results.
4UBets 0 Posted April 19, 2013 I had my surgery a week ago had to start soft foods a day ago. Needed some sort of energy. Just taking very slow but fill up really fast!!! I was on a liquid diet two weeks prior to surgery and then this week after.... Just needed something half way solid in my belly. Still in quite a bit of pain on port side too
dand03 5 Posted April 19, 2013 Hey WLS friends! How can you tell if you have stretched your pouch? I'm eating small amounts but worried it is too much since am hungrier now that swelling in stomach goes down. Thoughts?
New Nina 40 Posted April 19, 2013 A few months from now you will not remember any pain, or sleeping in a recliner, or any other horrible, normal symptons. You will be so happy standing in the dressing room of a department store and the clothes you are trying on are going to fit! You won't have to squint your eyes to make them seem "not too bad". Give yourself time..good things will happen. 1 chrissyagent210 reacted to this
