SRaeM 0 Posted April 25, 2006 I had my first fill and every since then my port feels like a rock. Is this normal? Is it possible that the liquid went into the port and not the band? My Dr. does the fill under x-ray. Anyone else experience this? No restriction yet, but my Dr. says it can take several fills to feel. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Elisabethsew 50 Posted April 25, 2006 It might be that your port shifted a little on the abdominal muscle and now it's easier for you to feel. As long as you're experiencing a difference in the restriction you have, the fill went into the right place. If the MD "hit" the port, the Fluid went in.
