PhotoNut 7 Posted April 25, 2006 I think that only you and your Dr will be able to determine when you should get a fill. Most Drs wait the full six weeks to give the swelling time to subside. That way, you know you are getting restriction from the fill and not just residual swelling that will go down and then leave you needing more fill. It's also not a fair estimation of how much you can eat when you are still swollen. I got my first and only fill six weeks after banding. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
