When can I get my first fill?

Is it really 6 weeks b4 someone can get their first fill?

My surgery was 3/30 and my first fill is scheduled for June 5th.

I think that only you and your Dr will be able to determine when you should get a fill. Most Drs wait the full six weeks to give the swelling time to subside. That way, you know you are getting restriction from the fill and not just residual swelling that will go down and then leave you needing more fill. It's also not a fair estimation of how much you can eat when you are still swollen.

Mine is scheduled for 2 June; exactly 6 weeks to the day.

Mine was 6 weeks although I too could have gotten it much sooner!
