I take Glucosomine daily for arthritis in my knees. It helps tremendously and I can't get much accomplished if I don't take it. The pills are rather large. I haven't been able to find anything besides them. Does anyone know of a place that I can find liquid forms or capsules that I can open and pour into juice or something??

Call your pharmacy. They can help and also your doctor. I take liquid Colace every day and you would be surprised at all the things that come in liquid form. I was at the nursing home one day when I saw a nurse with a pill crusher.

I need knee pain pills but I am too stubborn to ask. I use to take Vicadens (excuse spelling) 2-3 times a day,

There is a product called Joint juice, and people swear by it. It comes in liquid and powder. Here is a link to Walmart's website...they carry it. But so do a LOT of other places.

I just have to add my two sense so sorry if you already know this. Never ever cut or crush any medication over the counter or not unless cleared by a doctor or probably even better a pharmacist. Never!

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
