How long did it take to get approved?

I've submitted my paperwork to the nurse at the hospital I am wanting to have my surgery done. How long does it typically take before you get approved and a surgery date set?

My doctor told me less than a week and I got my call in a week! It should be quick!

I had an bcbsILhmo...Had to do a 6mo pre-op diet/consultations. After that I was approved immediately! Only had to pay $50 out of pocket Good luck!
