Nine dsys post op port poking me still

Hi everyone I'm wondering how long will I have a poking feeling every time I move in certain ways specially when I lay down at night???? Is this going go away any time soon? I don't want to second guess myself, but I cannot imagine living like this forever. I guess I just want someone to say this is normal right now, and it's going to get better.

I felt the same exact way after surgery...I thought the port pain would never go away. I think it took a good couple of weeks, but then one day it just wasn't there anymore. Hang in there...it'll get better.

I do not remember a poking feeling but sometimes my port is sore from sleeping on it.

I also never had a poking feeling, but if I'm sitting too long, especially kinda bent over like at a table, I have soreness when I straighten my body back up. Every day is better and better though. Be sure to ask at your next post-op and good luck =)

My port area hurt for a couple weeks. It felt like I had done 10000 sit-ups. Totally normal.
