Longislander 5 Posted March 30, 2013 After 2 years I finally went back to my dr to get back on track. He sent me for a barium esophogram to check on my band since its been a long time. I was so nervous but the radiologist said the band looks good still - I just have no pouch and everything just goes right down. I see my dr on Thursday & hope to have a fill & get back on the wagon. I really want to make this work this time - I am tired of feeling like a failure. I know it's my own fault that I havent succeded - I just needed to vent to others that understand how I feel, thank you for listening =) 5 catfish87, DELETE THIS ACCOUNT!, dylanmiles23 and 2 others reacted to this

hely88 883 Posted March 30, 2013 I have been banded for 4 years and just got back on track end of October. You can do it and you are doing it the right way checking your band and seeing about a small fill Don't forget to get a copy of your doctor's guidelines. I also found it very helpful to track a couple weeks of eating and then take it to a nutritionist that works with your doctor. Making the choice to change is a great decision. Leave all the guilt behind and start fresh. You are not a failure and you will do great! We got your back!! 3 DELETE THIS ACCOUNT!, catfish87 and Maddysgram reacted to this
catfish87 3,471 Posted March 30, 2013 Yea for you for not giving up! I will forever be a vocal voice in support of fills using fluoro...it was the ONE of the major reasons I am achieving success. I was so close, so very close to thinking this isn't going to work for me either...... Read my story for how it helped me. It really works, when and if you get to proper restriction. Hopefully, one day soon, all fills will be done using this method.....otherwise, its just a guess. Never, ever give up!
