It's probably been a month they took some out.. Sometimes I can eat and sometimes I can't. Tonight I had probably a table spoon of salad and 4 shrimp. At first it would not go down, so I waited and went back to eat and then it went down..

Ditto on the calories.

You might want to check in with a nutritionist. They can offer wonderful advice.

Maybe but 3 years and 80 pounds maybe I can't lose anymore. I think it's a mine thing.. I guess I also eat to live and not live to eat.. I just can't eat the right stuff I have no taste for real food.. I don't get hungry ever often , so if I 'm not hungry I want eat..

Well you still haven't responded how many calories you eat in a day so I assume you don't track them. The only way you can be positive you're not eating too much or too little is track your calories. Otherwise, you're just guessing. Some people do great without tracking calories but the fact you're not losing is a sign you're not one of those people. If I were you, I would start tracking your calories.

You say you can't the right stuff because you have no taste for it. What do you eat then? Really, whether or not you lose the weight is a choice. You can choose to eat healthy and do what's necessary to lose or you can keep doing what you're doing and stay where you are. But, the truth is you very much can lose weight, you just haven't made the decision to make the life changes to make that possible.

Best wishes.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
