marfar7 1,533 Posted March 28, 2013 Egg salad is one of my most fav foods, actually. I use real mayo tho (only Best Foods!), not the lite stuff. And yes, it's on the mushy list, along with tuna and chicken salad.< /p> Marci 1 Joy1961 reacted to this

hely88 883 Posted March 28, 2013 You should also have a list of what you can eat from your doctor. If you do not you probably want to get one asap.Congrats and best of luck!
Astafford82 18 Posted March 29, 2013 I did get a list I was told no hard boiled eggs so I wasn't sure if I cut them up good and made it into egg salad if that would be ok. Anyone have good ideas they used for the mushy diet weeks. 1 *sjr* reacted to this
hely88 883 Posted March 29, 2013 tuna salad, flaky fish, scrambled eggs whisked with skim milk, canned chicken, Beans, bean chilli, refried beans, egg salad I use a potato masher on eggs. Ricotta or cottage cheese with some beans and marinara sauce. Some people use the blender (I don't ). Let us know what things you discover work for you. Congrats again! ChicagoRose 650 Posted March 29, 2013 I was confused also when I first started puree because the word to me sounded like jarred baby food. Actually I explain it more like anything that you can mash with a fork, or really don't have to chew before you swallow, so yes, I also eat A LOT of tuna, chicken, and egg salad. Just kinda mash the eggs with a fork when you are mixing it and use lite mayo or greek yogurt. My other staple is I keep lots of cans of Campbell's Soups on hand, drain the Water, and make a mash with that since it is already cooked and soft. Good luck =0)
goalseeker 695 Posted March 30, 2013 I ate that a lot on mushies/soft foods.
