sweetpea_2007 29 Posted March 25, 2013 Hello, My name is Lisa Froman. I am 38 yrs old married. I have been thinking about Lap Band for quite a few yrs now. My husbands job keeps chainging every yr. I thought I would never be able to get it done. I have been overweight my whole life. I have tried every diet out there from Weight Watchers to just eating salads and nothing worked for me. Yeah I could lose 20-30 but gain it and more back.I had my first consultation on the 25th of Feburary and then I had my psy eval on the 28 of Feb. I then had my physical and dietian appt and just got the call today that my insurance company said yes to my surgery just waiting on the letter to arrive. CHEZNOEL 4,061 Posted March 25, 2013 Wow! Congratulations! This is best thing I ever did for myself. Come back often and keep posting. The folks here are very supportive and knowledgeable. Just remember, follow your surgeons advice first and foremost. Use the time pre-surgery to learn all you can, sample Protein powders and clean out the house of all trigger foods.
