Jim1967 3,569 Posted March 22, 2013 So fellow vets do you ever catch yourself analyzing your stomach gurgles? Out of no where my stomach will gurgle and I start to think about when was the last time I ate and then I start asking myself if it is a sign of hunger or just typical band noise. 2 ☠carolinagirl☠ and kll724 reacted to this

Frederic 500 Posted March 23, 2013 I've pretty much resigned myself to think that gurgling is just old food working it's way down the line it has nothing to do with whether I actually need to replace that food yet. 5 amberly, Daddyof4, ☠carolinagirl☠ and 2 others reacted to this
elcee 3,341 Posted March 23, 2013 Sometimes it gurgles as I eat. Maybe it's saying - thanks , about time. 1 Jim1967 reacted to this
Tomander 614 Posted March 25, 2013 I still gurgle after 7 years... I never know when it's going to happen. I've had it happen at various times of the day and night.... sometimes it's VERY loud. For me it's just my band telling me "Hey... I"m here and I'm working". Don't laugh (ok I know people you will laugh) but a few years ago I recored my gurgling using the mic. on my webcam and when I played in back it sound like an earthquake... and yes I have a lot of spare time on my hands !!! Tomander 614 Posted July 28, 2013 I'm going into my 8th year of being a bandster... and just yesterday while having coffee with a friend my band started "taking" to me. I wasn't hungry... it last for about 3 minutes. My band can gurgle at any time... and it's VERY loud. I've mentioned it to my doctor and he said that it is nothing to worry about that it could be air.,. and it very common. It's does hurt. For me it's just a reminder that my band is still doing it's job. Now... if it stops gurgling I might start to worry Tom, Toronto Banded July 6 06 Wt. jfc193 718 Posted July 28, 2013 My grand children just laugh when they hear the sounds coming out. They refer to the sound as an Alien. I guess I will be OK as long as I don't start trying to have a conversation. Tom since you have it recorded you could make it your rIng tone on your cell phone. 1 Heccat2 reacted to this
