phelanlucky25 2 Posted March 22, 2013 I am very excited about my upcoming date for banding. I am 3 weeks from the "BD" . This past week just drug by. I am trying to increase my Water intake and cut out soda's and coffee out of my diet this week. Next week I will drop all the bread and pasta's from my diet. I am adding Protein Shakes next week. Anyone else getting banded by Lap Band VIP in Southern California?
marfar7 1,533 Posted March 22, 2013 I think I've seen their billboards around Southern Ca (my husband parents live in Glendora). They're like every couple of miles! I think the Lapband is definately the new "fad". Congrats! Welcome to the "family"! Good luck with your surgery...Next year at this time you'll be reporting a huge loss! CHEZNOEL 4,061 Posted March 22, 2013 Lapband needs to be a lifestyle change, not a fad. It is hard work and not the easy way out. Just saying! IMHO. 3 countrygrl, flrosie and Maddysgram reacted to this

I guess what I meant by "it's a fad" is that there are billboards all over southern California freeways, along with the new Carls Jrs burger, and car sales. I didn't mean that it wasn't a way of life. I guess I worded that incorrectly. Actually, I think it's kind of tacky to advertise medical stuff on freeway billboards. But thats just me! Marci LOL, I was kinda taken aback by that. Wondering why you were calling it a fad and you had it yourself. Glad you cleared that up. In FL we have "Incision free Vasectomies". Always curious how they do that.lol 1 flrosie reacted to this
banded3-14-13 10 Posted March 23, 2013 Wow!!! That's so interesting!!! I live in Ohio and there is only one place about an hour away that will do the surgery at a 16,000 cost...I actually think it's great that they advertise...a great way of letting the public know they are out there and ready to help!
