i just got a letter from my dr who I haven't seen since after my surgery suggesting I call him to schedule an EGD, thoughts???

I'm presuming you've been banded for over a year.

I would have no problem having a EGD, being a few years back, before any thought of lapbanding, I had silent reflux. No symptoms of acid reflux, but one day extreme pain. Turns out my esophagus was eroded to the point of pre cancer. I now have been taking Prilocex daily for years.

So whether you have symptoms or not, what would it hurt?

      The 14th was my day. I am home and recovery is going pretty smooth. They even let me walk out of the hospital. Picture of me in recovery curtesy of my boyfriend lol.
