Mary Johnson 5 Posted March 19, 2013 My liquid diet started March 15, and i decided that if i went on a half way liquid diet before hand, i could help myself out! So on March 4th, I started eating oatmeal for Breakfast, Soup for lunch and a salad for supper..I lost 5 lbs...So i guess i started weining myself off my favorite things on the 4th so that it wasnt so traumatic when i started the strict liquid only diet. This has been by far the hardest thing i have ever done. Mentally overcoming cravings and hunger pangs is awful! Feeding three growing kids and a hard working husband is also a challenge, I refuse to go into a grocery store! I have been told that i will fail this liquid diet so i refuse to give in. I refuse to fail!! On top of that, my stomach is not agreeing to a life of liquid. Anything i eat (drink) instantly starts stomach cramps and diarreah. When I get to the point that the hunger makes me feel nauseous; which leaves me emotional and hungary! 1 countrygrl reacted to this

buttercup39 4 Posted March 19, 2013 You having a reaction to the Protein Powder, milk, or whey that's causing you to cramp. You can do this. My struggle was a love hate relationship with food right now. I'm moody and realized I wasn't getting enough Protein. 5 days to go until I get my band. The first 3 days are the worst and your past that stage. Good Luck! 1 ☠carolinagirl☠ reacted to this
Scrapmom3 8 Posted March 20, 2013 I was on a 2 week liquid diet and it was very hard especially the first 3 days. I had to cook meals for my husband and 3 teenage sons too. I stayed busy and I kept telling myself that its very worth all the hunger and cramps and it was the last diet I would ever be on. With each day it did get easier. YOU can do this. Good Luck! jessicawinston 58 Posted March 23, 2013 Today is day 2 of my liquid diet. I feel so emotional. Thank goodness no one tells me I can't do it. As a matter of fact my sister is so supportive she is doing the liquid diet with me. I keep thinking 12 more days till I'm banded. I can say I'm not really starving I just feel so drained. I know if I can't do it for two weeks how can I change my life and eat right. Tomorrow I have a wedding to go to this should be interesting. I'm not sure if I can tackle staying away from food around others. I will also start to cook tomorrow TESTS lol 1 countrygrl reacted to this
