shazini 94 Posted March 19, 2013 I had my visit yesterday and I've lost 13 lbs 12 days past surgery which is nice. My surgeon was thrilled but he said don't even think "fill" until 4-6 weeks post op. But I have no time to Celebrate.< /p> It seem like every time something good happens in our lives something bad has to come and F it up. My wife got laid off. :o We lost our insurance and I don't have insurance in what I do so we're pretty ****ed! We're both pretty down. :(
DELETE THIS ACCOUNT! 12,703 Posted March 19, 2013 Congratulations on your loss but I'm so sorry your wife lost her job. How long until her insurance runs out? Is cobra an option? 3 shazini, 2muchfun and ☠carolinagirl☠ reacted to this
2muchfun 8,927 Posted March 19, 2013 My doc gives lifetime fills with his surgeries. I've never paid for one and I've been back 8 times. Check with him and see? BTW-My wife was laid off a year ago but made lemonade from lemons and is now self employed and doing well. There's a silver lining hiding somewhere for her. tmf 3 ☠carolinagirl☠, dylanmiles23 and shazini reacted to this
shazini 94 Posted March 19, 2013 Thank you. It runs out at the end of the month but her Cobra is totally cost prohibitive. $2200.00 per month which is outrageous. 1 ☠carolinagirl☠ reacted to this

elgrande 55 Posted March 19, 2013 Good Job on the weight loss. You should call the dr and tell him about your situation. Maybe he will give you a fill. Good luck. 2 ☠carolinagirl☠ and shazini reacted to this
hely88 883 Posted March 19, 2013 The Silver lining is you have had the surgery. You probably have some fills included. Check with your doctor and keep up the good work! 2 shazini and ☠carolinagirl☠ reacted to this
shazini 94 Posted March 20, 2013 Thanks for the support. I'm not worried about fills with my surgeon. We've paid enough that I believe we're good there. It's other meds specially for my wife which are very expensive. We'll do something I'm sure, it will get better. 1 ☠carolinagirl☠ reacted to this
