My Ob took me off metformin just to see what happens. I put myself back on it and it definately messes with your stomach if you are not taking it consistantly. I also am in loEstrin 24 birth-control. I find I retain alot if Water and I'm always bloated. The inches lost is evident but scale is just sitting at same weight for a month and a half now.
